Getting there
The score accelerates, because the speed does — so the second half of this target takes noticeably less time than the first. That has a practical consequence: the early levels are not where the points are, they are where the runs end. Treat the first minute as something to get through cleanly rather than something to play well, and the rest arrives on its own. From 7,500, the next target is 10,000.
Questions
How long does 7,500 points take?
About 5m 8s of continuous running, give or take a few seconds depending on how many obstacles the track happens to throw at you and how many near misses you pick up.
Is 7,500 a good score?
It means reaching level 12 without dying, at 878 units a second. Whether that is good is entirely relative to your own last run — which is the only comparison the game offers, and deliberately so.
What is the hardest part of reaching 7,500?
Almost always the first minute, because that is where attention wanders — the game is slow, the obstacles are simple, and it is easy to stop concentrating. Most runs that fail to reach a target like this fail early, not late.
Every figure on this page is read from the game's own tuning and recomputed on each build, so it describes the game you are actually playing rather than a version of it that once existed.
